McClees Law Firm Secures Justice in Harding Street Raid Dismissal

Posted by Ed McClees | Feb 13, 2025

he McClees Law Firm is pleased to announce that all charges against our client, who was wrongfully accused in connection with an alleged overtime scheme related to the infamous Harding Street raid, have been dismissed by the Harris County District Attorney’s Office.

From the outset, it was clear that these charges were politically motivated, a fact that has now been publicly acknowledged through today's dismissal. Ed McClees and the lawyers for the other officers charged, fought tirelessly to expose the weaknesses in the prosecution's case and to uphold his client's rights.

“This dismissal is not just a victory for our client, but a statement against the dangerous practice of using the criminal justice system for political gain,” said McClees. “Our client should have never faced these charges in the first place. Today's decision reaffirms what we have said all along: justice should be based on facts, not political pressure.”

The McClees Law Firm remains committed to defending those who find themselves unfairly targeted by the legal system and will continue to advocate for justice in Houston and beyond.
